Ohio St. tomorrow night!
Nebraska is due for an upset! The Husker men's basketball team, that is. Ohio St. is angry and has lost three in a row and not a good time to meet them. But tomorrow night we are at home and we are due for a big win!! Here we go:
Nebraska 67
Ohio St. 66
PG Trey Dickerson, a JUCO player from Williston St. (ND) may be getting an offer from the Huskers soon. He has three years remaining and plans to take four official visits with one being Nebraska.
Nebraska has three recruits visiting this weekend for football.
DeSean Blair, WR (Currently committed to Louisville)
Chris Jones, DB (Currently committed to Purdue)
Mikale Wilbon, RB (high on Vanderbilt and Nebraska)
Next weekend there are six visitors coming to Lincoln. Important time for the future of the Huskers.

Nebraska hires new Defensive back coach!
Nebraska has hired Air Force's defensive coordinator as their next defensive back coach. Charlton Warren was also their recruiting coordinator for a period of time.
Warren's defense ranked 116th in scoring defense and 114th in total defense, giving up 490.3 yards a game.
Warren will replace Terry Joseph, who took the secondary job at Texas A & M.
Nebraska defensive end prospect Darius Slade has decommitted from the Huskers. It looks like he is headed to Ohio State.
Omaha North offensive lineman Michael Decker becomes the first in-state athlete to receive a scholarship offer for 2015.
David Rivers will start to play a bigger role for NU basketball starting with Ohio St. Monday night.
With Nebraska having no underclassmen going to the NFL, it definately helps even things out when the recruiting class isn't in the Top 10.

Nebraska produces upset tonight!
Michigan is rated 20th by Pomeroy and Nebraska 91st.
Michigan is led by Glenn Robinson III. He is 6'6" and weighs 220. Big Mitch McGary is hurt and will not play. He is the All-Big 10 as a center. This is pretty big for Nebraska. Nebraska is yet to lose at Pinnacle and they will not start tonight.

OMG What a game!! Abdullah to the NFL??
What a great game. Exciting! One of the better bowl games for sure. There wasn't many at the game itself.
The big play was a 99.5 yard touchdown pass from Armstrong to Enunwa. What a play!! Then at the end of the game Georgia had a pretty good chance to win but on the last play the Georgia receiver dropped the ball.
This will be good momentum going into the final days of recruiting and next season. That is always a good thing.
But what will Ameer Abdullah do? Will he go to the NFL? I am sure he will think about it strongly if he can be drafted in the second or even the third round. He definately could do that. He is dynamic and one of the best ever at NU. Let's hope he comes back next season.
The last running back to go early was Brandon Jackson who has had a respectable career in the NFL.
The offensive line should be good next year and wow how good they played today. The allowed our offense to score enough to win. Abdullah had 120 yards today. Enunwa was great today. He had 140 yards receiving and caught the "pass". He also had another touchdown earlier in the game.
The defense played very well today. Tackling was much better. How about Corey Cooper's tackle late in the game. The defense kept Georgia in the field goal mold and that won the game. Georgia outyarded Nebraska by about 100 yards but Nebraska held when they needed to. Georgia is a very good team and a win today was big.
Today was the sixth straight 9 win season for Pelini. That's nothing to scoff about although we aren't in a BCS bowl game. Not many teams have accomplished that the past six seasons.
I was looking at the 1997 Nebraska Football Recruits and Matt Davison was listed with this group. The recruiting class included Kyle Vanden Bosch, Correll Buckhalter, and Dominic Raiola. It also included Eric Crouch and Bobby Newcombe.
Here's what the Omaha World-Herald said about Matt Davison:
"The two time All-Nebraska first team selection got a surprise in early August when NU Coach Tom Osborne offered a scholarship. "I had no other offers, but Kansas State and Wyoming were real interested." he said. Davison drew the attention of recruiters after a junior season in which he set an all-class receiving record of 1,516 yards and 28 touchdowns. His 313 receiving yards against Louisville in 1995 was an 11-man single game all-class mark. Though he was a marked man as a senior, Davison made 83 catches for 1,328 yards and 20 touchdowns. His 3,613 yards and 58 touchdowns are all-class career records. Davison also could have chosen to play college basketball. He averaged 25.6 points as a junior and 20.8 as a sophomore to earn C-2 all state honors both years and this season he's averaging 25.7 a game for 16-0 Tecumsseh. He ran a 4.7 electronic 40 and had a 31 inch vertical jump at last summer's NU camp."
