Nebraska has hosted Top 15 nonconference teams just four times in the past 43 years. The last team was No 14 Michigan St in 1994. Of course NOW they are in our conference. On December 4th NU will face in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge Miami (Fla) who is expected to be a Top 15 team for sure this fall. The last year Miami was 29-7 and finished No. 10 in the poles.
Interestingly all five starters for Miami were seniors this past year and are headed to the NBA but they are expected to reload quickly.
Other top matchups for this Challenge are Michigan/Duke, North Carolina/Michigan St., Indiana/Syracuse, Maryland/Ohio State, and Notre Dame/Iowa.
