Randy Gregory wasn't drafted in the first round tonight. No surprise due to his testing positive for drugs in Indianapolis and admitting testing positive twice at Nebraska. Great talent. Gets hurt a lot it seems but the kid is good. Maybe the Raiders will pick him up early in the second round. I hope Ameer Abdullah goes early tomorrow. He will be a star in the NFL. He may go before Gregory.
As bad as Nebraska has been in the draft the past few years they are number five all-time with drafted players with 350 coming into this draft.
The Royals beat the division leading Tigers tonight 8-1. Alex Gordon was 2-4 and now is above .300 in batting.
The Kentucky Derby is Saturday. American Pharoah is the favorite at 2-1 odds. The second best horse is Dortmund going off 9-2. He's undefeated and my pick to win.
