Nebraska has struggled this year to win losing three games by a total of nine points. Wisconsin has been hit by injuries and aren't playing to the level most thought they would be. Nebraska and Wisconsin were supposed to be 5-1 or better at this time.
Nebraska continues to have their own injuries with Freedom out this week, so is Banderas, Rose-Ivey, Maurice, Williams, maybe Valentine, and others. Back are DeMornay Pierson-El and Gangwish. The defensive line will look to Mick Stoltenburg to get a lot of time. We will see how good the Gretna product is. Big news to some is Jordon Stevenson will be playing this week but not much, maybe some special teams.
I have that feeling that Nebraska, which I think has a pretty good team will have one of those games we forget part of the past several weeks.
Look to the following and don't laugh because it will happen:
Nebraska 28 Wisconsin 14
The words to the Husker pre-game prayer are pretty awesome.
Football Pregame Prayer
Dear Lord,
In the battles we go through life
We ask for a chance that's fair
A chance to equal all our strife
A chance to do or dare
And if we win,
Let it be by the code
With faith and honor held high
And if we lose,
Let us stand by the road
And cheer as the winners go by.
Day by day
We get better and better
A team that can't be beat
Won't be beat.
