HBO featured Omahan Terence Crawford Saturday night.
The bout was between Alejandro Sanabria (34-1) and Terence Crawford (20-0) in the lightweight division. Crawford is considered by many to be one of the top lightweights in the world since Adrien Broner appears to be staying in either the welterweight or junior welterweight division.
Crawford won in the 6th round when he knocked down Sanabria. Sanabria was unable to recover.
Terence Crawford is headed to a Championship fight. He is great and he reminds me of a small Muhammed Ali.
Justin Rose won the US OPEN today in golf.
I hope the Indiana Hooosiers win tomorrow vs. Miss. St. What a great victory that would be for the Big 10!! I just think they might.
The Cornhuskers have added new recruits this last week to get to nine in football. They have four offensive and four defensive players along with a kicker. No big names but my guess is we have a bunch of great players. We have some Nebraska boys in this group too.
Trey Beckman becomes the NU baseball team's first recruit. He is a hitter out of Iowa.
