Five Weeks!

We are less than five weeks away from the first game in Lincoln versus BYU. The goal is for Nebraska to make the playoffs. We start with a new era in Nebraska football. Mike Riley takes over for Bo Pelini. It feels good to have a new beginning. It gives us hope. We have had this hope before when Pelini was hired, when Callahan was hired. Its just so difficult to be at the top. We have been there and we know what it feels like and we want that feeling again. There's hope!

Mike Riley is fun to listen to. He is a nice guy. I am sure there will be times this fall where the players might not believe that but he will stop and talk to the press and is approachable. He knows its important.

The Huskers have a new system to learn and that makes it tough to beat a Miami away or even a BYU at home. We realistically will have a loss with one of those teams. Michigan State and Wisconsin are at home but we will do well to win one of those games. And then Minnesota away.........

We do have hope and excitement back in the program.so I hope we have a fun year!
