Nebraska can win!

Nebraska will need excellent special teams play, no turnovers and Lateef to gain 100 yards in rushing. If we can accomplish these three items Nebraska will win,

The special teams play is very possible. Jacory Barney will be the key! He will most likely be our punt returner and kickoff returner. He can break one for sure. Can we get a blocked punt? Yes, we can! Our field goal kicking will need to be perfect!

On the no turnover issue, that will be tough! It seems highly unlikely with using our season as a guide that we can go against one of the best teams in the nation and not have a turnover. We will see!

Lateef will need to break loose and run hard in this game. I don't feel we have seen his best performance and he has the ability. With him breaking lose on some big runs we can keep their defense struggling.

Utah will run against Nebraska, but we have to hold them back most of the time.

It's time for Nebraska to use their tight ends as receivers, run the QB, and have some trick plays! Why not? we have to gamble in this game to win!

My head says Utah 34 Nebraska 21!

But I will go with my heart on this one and NU wins 33-31 on a last second field goal! GBR!

What are Nebraska chances in the bowl game vs Utah

🎯 Scenarios & Estimated Odds

ScenarioWhat HappensRough “Probability”
1. Utah wins comfortablyUtah controls the game: dominate on the ground, exploit Nebraska’s backup QB / potential absences (RB and others), build a lead early — then coast. Final margin maybe 20+ points.~ 50-60%
2. Tight game — Utah squeaks out a winNebraska hangs in: maybe they limit turnovers, mix in enough defense or special-teams plays. Game is close late, but Utah’s depth/consistency gives them a narrow win (maybe 3–7 points).~ 25-30%
3. Nebraska pulls off an upsetHuskers find momentum: backup QB plays well, maybe Utah under-estimates them; Nebraska exploits mismatches, hits big plays, maybe defense or special teams swing momentum — and they win by a point or two, or a modest margin.~ 15-20%
