NU football will rebound this week

Just when most fans think NU is going into a tail-spin, this writer believes that they will win the last three and end 9-3 in the regular season. With two of the three games at home and an away game at Texas A & M, it is the time for this team to jell. They will.

Okie State is a very talented team. Missouri is not as good and we have them at home. We will control the next three teams by running the ball and the defense will be healed up enough to stuff any offense we will face. On to 9-3 and to KC for the Big 12 Championship.

The NU basketball team starts their exhibition season a week from today against the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Should be a fun game to watch. Coach Sadler said they have had so many players injured that he has had to use his student managers to scrimmage. They are not as far along as he would like because they have had so many injured players. Not a good sign early but hopefully soon some of the players will heal and start to get into shape. They will get better as the year progresses. I bet they will be fun to watch.

Wednesday catch a high school football playoff game and enjoy.

What is your projected score for the week? Can we stop the tight ends Coffman and Rucker? I think that will be the key this week.

Give me your score. This writer says NU 27-20 Huskers!!!
