Eric Martin was waived by the New Orleans Saints. Shortly after that the Cleveland Browns picked him up.
Seven defensive players have received Blackshirts. They are Jason Ankrah, Thad Randle, David Santos, Ciante Evans, Josh Mitchell, Stanley Jean-Baptiste, and Corey Cooper.
Freshman Running Back Aaron Taylor looks to redshirt this year and freshman Terrell Newby should get some good playing time.
Newby and Kenny Bell will return kickoffs. Jamal Turner and Newby are the top punt returners.
