Ray Gallegos will be back playing with NU this year after redshirting his junior year. He will either play shooting guard or point guard. Gallegos is stronger and quicker and is glad he redshirted. He is 6'2" and 176 lbs. Coach Miles says,"I think he scores the ball. He's a good athlete, and he seems to defensive rebound pretty well, too, for a guard. At the end of the day, he's a guard that, in practices, has scored better than just about anybody else."
The Nebraska basketball team has been working hard on their offense spending entire workouts shooting, screening, and doing offfensive drills.
Baker Steinkuhler is getting ready for his senior year with the Nebraska football team. He is huge at 6'6" and 290 lbs. With Suh and Crick both now gone, Baker is the man in the middle of the defense.
A 2013 targer for the Nebraska basketball team is a 6'9", 240 pound power forward from South Dakota. His name is Zach Hanson and he was name the South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year. Hanson will make an official visit to Nebraska in last September.
Marcus Newby's head coach says he is the best player he has ever coached in the nine years at North Potomac High School in Maryland. He also coached Jason Ankrah.
Former Husker defensive end Josh Williams looks to start this year at Kansas.
