The Harlan County Lake is rising. Elevation today was 1942.66. Normal pool level is 1946. A year ago the lake's elevation was 1930.73, which is a rise of app. 12 feet. On 1/2/07, the lake's elevation was 1926.44. Since that time the lake has risen over 16 feet.
Catfish don't seem to be biting south of Orleans yet. Not a lot of signs that there are many fish in the river that far west yet.
